Corgi macarons decorated with all macaron batter in colors black, pink, brown and white. Some detailed include pink ears dusted in pink pearl dust and tinier details using an edible food marker.
Hi, my name is Linda and I love dogs. I have a 5 year old corgi and chihuahua mix and he’s super cute! Though Honey & Butter started the corgi macarons (I think), I had to create my own featuring Luffy. He looks something like below.
Luffy is always happy and I don’t know how I got so lucky with him. He adapts to every situation and every move I’ve been in. He’s not a social butterfly and enjoys a good cuddle. These corgi macarons represent him – smiling and happy.
Corgi Macarons Tips
- It’s humid in Texas so drying time takes an hour plus. When you’re decorating with batter on batter technique, it requires an even longer period of drying. If I don’t dry, it cracks or breaks where the lines join.
- Mix a bit of black, pink and white batter. I made one batch and then separated the colors. Or you can create multiple batches of 4 different colors. Keep in mind you’ll have lots of circles left over though!
- Use an edible food marker to draw on the smaller details. Ideally, you can use black batter but I don’t have that great of a control yet.
- For some added cuteness. you can dust pink pearl dust on the ears or cheeks. It glitters and shines in a different angle.
