Top 5 Macaron Bakers
What I Adore about Honey and Butter
ALL OF IT. Their page is full of cuteness and piping technique videos. They also really love corgis and follow hip trends for macaron ideas. They are based on California and I so want to visit. Lines start before noon (so I heard) and they sell out quick!
What I Adore about Indulge with Mimi
If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, Big Macaron Dreams, and fluffy no hollow macarons. Mimi is the macaron queen. She has lots of resources like troubleshooting tips, templates and recipes. She’s super sweet and will genuinely help each time. Mimi, I think you’re awesome!
What I Adore about MellyEatsWorld
Unicorn with Piped Wings, Disney Eeyore with tufting technique, macaron creatures all similar in size and cuteness. OMG, Melly has the most adorable macarons. I love how each macaron is piped with precision. Her macarons usually have a matching back side like a curly tail for pigs or a rainbow tail for unicorns. So cute!
What I Adore about Nutmeg and Honeybee
Gum Ball Machine Macaron, 3D Macaron Art, Dream Catcher Macarons, and Vintage Bicycle macarons.
This girl just goes for it and that’s what I admire. She makes up her own trends with quick how-to videos. I haven’t interacted with her much, but she seems really down to earth and sweet. Meg uses royal icing, buttercream and macaron batter to decorate. The end result is flawless.
What I Adore about LovingCreations4U
Her moving macaron carousel, moving tricycle, moving macaron ferris wheel, and moon cake macarons are so cool. Although Phay doesn’t have as many followers as the rest of the macaron baker influences, she has some amazing ideas. If you ever wanted a macaron batter that did not include so much sugar, guess who experimented with that too?
There are tons of brilliant minds out there, but these are my top 5 favorites. As a macaron baker, I hope to be on their level some day. Until then, I will explore one day at a time and enjoying my baking adventures.
